Gabriela Alexandru

About Gabriela:

Gabriela joined Gullands’ Corporate team as a paralegal in July 2018 before qualifying as a Solicitor in September 2021.

She has since worked in both contentious and non-contentious matters, covering everything from advice on individual contracts to assisting on multi-million-pound transactions. Gabriela’s focus is helping people in all aspects of business law and helping them to find the best options to reach their goals.

 

Areas of practice:

All aspects of Business, Corporate and Commercial Law including:

• Negotiating difficult director’s and shareholder’s disputes
• Preparing shareholders’ agreements and articles of association
• Setting up and advising upon corporate structures
• Acquisitions and sale of both shares and assets
• Terms and conditions for goods and services
• Franchise and other business agreements

 

Education:

Gabriela read Law at Oxford Brookes University, graduating in 2014 (LLB Hons.), followed by her Legal Practice Course at BBP University in London in 2018. She worked as an intern in the Human Rights Department of the Romanian Government’s Ministry of Justice, before joining a local Family Law team and working as a paralegal for over three and a half years. Both roles led to her forming a deeply compassionate and problem-solving approach towards all her matters, and a desire to always put people first in her practice.

 

Interests:

Gabriela is an avid reader of both fiction and non-fiction, an amateur writer and she is very devoted to her friends, family and pets.
