Gullands appoints wellness partner
Julie Hobson has been appointed to the role of wellness partner within Gullands. In addition to her family team duties, Julie will be promoting wellbeing in the workplace to promote a positive working environment, where individuals can grow their careers to help longer term business growth.
Julie explains: “Staff wellbeing has been rising up the business agenda for several years and the pandemic has really put the spotlight on it and what people want from work. Here at Gullands we pride ourselves on being different to other firms and for several years we have been offering a more flexible approach to help the team achieve a better work life balance. My role will now help to take this a step further. Healthy workplaces encourage individuals, the teams, and the business to flourish and I will be working across the business to look at ways colleagues can be better supported to achieve their full potential.”
“I will be looking at ways to promote good physical and mental health, looking at our working environment, promoting business values, being a supportive ear and giving the team a greater voice and encouraging personal growth. We want the senior team to be the role models for the next generations of employees here at Gullands and we want people to feel supported and rewarded throughout their career.”
