Gravesham Business Awards 2023

The Gravesham Business  Awards are back and now in its fifth year, is supported by several high profile local and regional companies including Gullands as well as having the backing of Gravesham Borough Council.

Not only can companies enter the awards, but anyone can nominate a business for entry.  Additionally, apprentices will be given a spotlight whereby they can not only enter but can be nominated by their employers.

Company size and turnover is irrelevant, and the only entry prerequisite is the company must pay its rates to Gravesham Borough Council and been trading for one year prior to 1 January 2023.

Entrants will receive a free business profile on the website and a gala night is planned for the finalists in the autumn.

Chair of Judges Keith Mason has been judging local business awards for over 13 years.

He said: “The judging panel is looking for something extra, something beyond mere competence, although that is crucial.  That something can come in a variety of forms, but usually it boils down to a passion for delivering great customer service!”

There are 12 different categories to enter – Hospitality, High Street Business, Business Decarbonisation, Digital Marketing, Youth Owned, Family Owned, Community Business, Innovation, Not for Profit, Health and Wellbeing, Professional / Consulting, Manufacturing, and the Apprentice Award.
